Absence or tardiness for any other reason is considered unexcused and will be entered on the student's record. Each student who has been absent must bring a written excuse from home on the day of his/her return to school.

A written excuse from a parent or guardian is necessary for the dismissal of a student before regular dismissal time. Music lessons or other out-of-school activities should not be scheduled during regular school hours.

If a child is to be picked up by someone other than a parent or guardian, please advise the Main Office. The parent/guardian or another authorized person must sign the student out at the building office. Appropriate identification may be required.

Classroom teachers cannot release students unless authorized by the principal or his/her designee.
